Owen's fun day at school with green paint

Just before the holiday, Owen came home like this... I forgot to post earlier, but had to share this. He came home covered in green paint, actually all of his classmates were too. His creativity is developing so fast right now. I need to start buying him clothes at the second hand store, because as you can see, most of his new clothes get smothered in paint...or glue...or dirt...or whatever else he gets into. But even though it more work on my end, I am trilled that he is having fun and learning how to be creative...

Our day in Georgetown

Georgetown is a historic town is about 25 miles north of Austin. We ventured there on Saturday to have lunch and sight see. It was a gorgeous day, around 75 degrees, and we had a blast looking at all of the historic buildings and having lunch in the square at the old general store. It felt like Billy the Kid could have been hiding around the corner. We are such suckers for quaint historic towns and there are so many in central Texas! Here are some pictures...

To start off the new year with a clean yard, we spent a few hours cleaning up all the leaves which just finally fell. Owen was such a great helper.

Christmas 2008

More Thanksgiving Photos...

Since we were staying in Austin for Christmas, Santa visited us early at the lakehouse over the Thanksgiving holiday so we could all open a few gifts together.

Touchdown!

We have a new college football fan in the house... Owen has definitely taken a likin' to it. As you can see here in this picture, he can't be without his new Texas Longhorn Football. Oh, don't you fret, we are asking Santa for an LSU Tiger and PSU Nittany Lion football to balance out our household.

Happy Halloween

Well... Owen loves dinosaurs. We thought that that would be the perfect costume for his second Halloween... but all they had was a dragon, so we improvised, he was a "dragon dinosaur" and played the part quite well! He was adorable and roared all day long. ROAR! Halloween was busy - we had three parties - one at our office, one at Owen's school and one at our friend's, Jack, Nicole and baby Kate's house. Owen's First Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

For my 29th birthday (Owen's mom), I joined Owen's class on his very first field trip to a nearby pumpkin patch - it was the best birthday! Owen and his friends enjoyed climbing on pumpkins, running through the straw maze and singing songs with the singing pumpkin (don't ask, it was kind of strange, but the kids loved it).
